Ethnic Cleansing in Bosnia – United States Holocaust Memorial Museum – Eyewitness: Ron Haviv

A Muslim wife tries to help her injured husband after he was shot by the Tiger Serbian paramilitary unit and moments before she was shot herself in Bijeljina, Bosnia, March 31, 1992, during the first battle for Bosnia’s independence. Arkan’s Tigers were responsible for a large part of the ethnic cleansing that occurred at the beginning of the war in Bosnia.
